During this unique tour, you start in Budapest, explore the way south to Croatia, visit some beautiful national parks and most importantly, you can sail on the Adriatic sea! Itinerary

Day 1Your home destination – Budapest (Hungary)

• Arrive at Budapest airport, meet and greet by your local guide, private transfer to the hotel, check-in, short rest
• Depending on your flight arrival, sightseeing in Budapest, either by foot or by bus
• Evening: dinner at a local restaurant, orientation briefing about the tour

Day 2Budapest (Hungary)

• After breakfast half day sightseeing in Budapest
• We begin the sightseeing the City Park and Heroes’ square. After a walk there, we will pass by the Opera, St. Stephen’s Basilica and then we reach the building of the Hungarian Parliament.
• Later drive up to the Castle, have a short walk with the most beautiful city skyline. Visit Matthias Church, one of the oldest and finest monuments of the capital, also known as Coronation Church, because several Hungarian kings were crowned there. Walk along Fishermen’s Bastion offering a magnificent view over Pest on the other side of the river.
• Later: free time, shopping, relax
• Evening: Walk in the famous entertainment district of Budapest, and, visit some of the famous “ruin” pubs.

Day 3Budapest (Hungary)

• After breakfast we continue our sightseeing in Budapest, this time exploring the history and culture of Budapest: Take a walking tour exploring the city’s Art Novueau buildings, and Jewish heritage including the Great Synagogue of Dohány street.
• Around noon we go to the Grand Market Hall of Budapest, where we look around and have lunch. This will be a great opportunity to taste local food.
• In the afternoon we visit one of Budapest’s famous baths, Széchenyi Bath
• Late-afternoon: We take a dinner cruise on the Danube river with live music.
• After the cruise, we drive up to the Citadella to have a view over the city.

Day 4Budapest – Pécs – Villány (Hungary)

• After breakfast we proceed to Villány-Siklós wine region.
• Stop in the city of Pécs. The Roman town, Sopianae (Pécs), evolved here 2000 years ago. It is a city with a strong Italian atmosphere: the main square and the mosque’s white-hot stones on a summer day or the terraces of the cafés and restaurants of Király Street can easily make you feel yourself in Italy. There are also many surviving buildings from the age of the Turkish occupation, plus the number of museums worth visiting: the Zsolnay Porcelain Museum, the permanent exhibitions of Vasarely and Tivadar Kosztka Csontvary.
• Later continue to Villány: In the southernmost wine-making region of the Carpathian basin, the slopes of the Villány hills are covered with as much as 2500 acres of vineyards. There are more than 10 million vines on the sunny slopes of the Villány Wine-Region producing wine, one of the earth’s noblest gift and an important source of the region’s wealth and beauty. Viticulture was a prominent activity in the region as early as the Roman times, not surprisingly hence the climate is ideal for grape growing. The wine producers of Villány have received several awards at wine competitions and exhibitions.
• We check in to our hotel, short refreshment
• Then we start the famous village wine tour, which will take us to several old wine cellars.

Day 5Villány – Hévíz (Hungary) – Plitvice National Park (Croatia)

• Depart from Villány in the morning and depart to Hévíz, the famous spa town of Hungary
• Later we continue towards the Croatian border.
• Stop in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb for a coffee break.
• Later continue to Plitvice National Park, check in to hotel
• Overnight in the park.

Day 6Plitvice – Split / Dubrovnik (Croatia)

• After breakfast we discover the beautiful park and its spectacular waterfall systems.
• Later drive to South to Split or Dubrovnik.
• Check in to hotel, dinner.

Day 7Split / Dubrovnik – ship (start sailing)

• Check out from the hotel, and go to the marina cruise port
• Board our ship to begin our one week journey.
• Overnight on board

Day 08 – 13Adriatic sea (on board)

• Travel on the Adriatic with stops, shore excursions, free time, optional programmes, rest
• During the sailing, we are free to sail anywhere we wish, we can stop at beautiful villages, towns, isolated picturesque bays to have picnic, swimming, snorkelling or we just stay relaxing and sunbathing on the deck
• We will have our own captain on board who will guarantee our safety throughout the tour

Day 14Split / Dubrovnik – Your home destination

• Disembark the ship
• Depending on your flight schedule free time or go to the train station / airport.
• Say goodbye to each other, travel home
